Consulting Medical Herbalist

Where nature meets science

for optimum health

Heal from Within

One of the main advantages of herbal medicine is its comparative safety record as against conventional medicine.

While by definition, medicinal herbs have an effect on the body, adverse effects are rare.

Power of Plants

Medicinal herbs have many health benefits and are quite benign in nature so can be used over long periods.

Mind

A consultation with a herbalist is a chance to speak openly and at length about your health concerns in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

For many people this is the first opportunity they have had to talk at length, not only about their physical health, but also their emotional well-being and any concerns or fears they may be experiencing.

Letting a patient speak freely, sometimes flitting from problem to problem gives the opportunity to evaluate how a patient is experiencing their current illness.

Body

Since the beginning of civilisation people have known that herbal medicine works but have been unable to explain why.

Modern scientific developments are now enabling us to discover exactly what happens to the contents of natures’ vast kitchen once they are ingested, inhaled and applied, and to make new breakthroughs in herbal medicine that our ancestors could only have dreamed of.

21st century medicine really is the place where nature meets science for optimum health.
